PORTRAIT OF PENINSULA WOMAN:

Portrait of Peninsula Woman profiles seventeen quietly remarkable women who graciously agreed to let me tell their stories. Those stories were printed in The Chinook Observer in Long Beach, Washington, from fall 2001 to summer 2005. These are stories of how women live their lives while spinning out unique variations on age-old themes. These word portraits tell about the lives of women making a difference on a little spit of land cradled inbetween Willapa Bay on the east and the Pacific Ocean on the west. These are the stories of women who know what it means to go to the edge.
